Molly- adopted and living with Tedy/Beau in NYC

Updated photos of Molly and Beau in December 2009.
Molly arrived to LGA airport late on December 20, 2008 but is safe and sound. Molly and Beau began bonding with each other as soon as Molly arrived last night. Molly slept through the night beside her Mom's bed and woke up ready to play with Beau. They are currently romping through the snow in Central Park in an area popular with Golden Retriever owners. Name: Molly Molly is a gentle and loving dog that has been no problem to have in our family. She is good with people, cats, and children. She is also house trained and crate trained. She is a medium energy dog that enjoys walks, playing with people and dogs, and cuddling, but is not pushy for attention. In her past life Molly was mostly left outdoors and escaped from her fenced yard multiple times. In the week she has been with us, she has been mostly inside. She has twice been left outside in our 4 foot chain linked fence for a couple of hours at a time. Both times we came home and she was still in the fenced yard, sleeping by the back door. Given the choice, Molly prefers to be next to her people, whether inside or outside. Molly has not shown signs of inappropriate chewing, mouthing, jumping, or excessive barking. Her only vice is a love of human food and occasionally “counter surfing” for food. Molly is slightly over weight, so her family will need to limit snacks and be diligent on exercise. As you can tell from this description, Molly is an easy dog to be around and enjoy. The family who takes Molly will be rewarded with a likeable and easy dog that enjoys showing her love. |
