Monroe is a  big red neutered male. He's been described by his foster mom as 10 years young. He would be great for a retiree or someone who works from home.
Monroe will also make a great companion dog for a single person. 
 Living in an apartment or Condo would work for him just as long as there are only a few stairs for him to climb. He doesn't need a large yard, just a 5-10 minute walk  2 to 4 times day.  Monroe has a bladder of steel.  Amazing for an old guy. 
 Monroe loves to go for walks. When he sees his leash he will get up right away for a walk.  Monroe doesn't like cats or small children. Monroe seems to prefer women over men.
