Moose- update in feb 2012

Moose joined our family in Birmingham, AL in October 2010 and he has been a fantastic addition! He enjoys going on runs, playing fetch (kind of), chewing on sticks and bones, digging holes, getting belly
rubs, taking naps, and we found out last summer that he loves swimming. He and our cat, Charlie, get along very well, but if the cat gets too much attention he can get a little jealous. We hope to one day find a sibling for him, and we'll definitely look to GSGRR when the time comes. Overall, he's the best dog we could have ever asked for and we feel lucky to have found him. Special thanks to Andy S for helping our paths cross. Enjoy the pictures!

Cheers!Scott & Emily

Moose is a handsome red male about 1.5 to 2 years old. The vet seems to think he may have been born around Valentine’s Day 2009. While not huge, he is a strong, thick, blockheaded boy.  His coat is red, on the short side and very soft. We believe that Moose is a golden/lab mix of some sort.

Moose has lots of energy and will need a person/family that will exercise him regularly and get outside to play with him. While he does seem to be a dominant male, he is very playful with other dogs.
Moose is very sweet and loving and has shown no aggression toward the cat in his foster home. He is gentle but inquisitive with our cat. He does sometime run up on him, which startles the cat, but never hurts him.

Moose is crate trained and housebroken.
If you think you have the happy, loving forever home he is looking for, please complete our online application and mention his name.
