Hi Jim,

I just wanted to let you know that Murdoc is adjusting well to his new home.
My 2-1/2 yr old daugther wanted to name him "Copper" so we've renamed him
and he already responds to his new name. He is very protective of Ashley
and barks at people whenever she's around but not when she isn't. He does
see bark when he sees his reflection in the television or the fireplace or
stereo cabinet. It's really cute to see. He is learning to be gentler with
our maltese, who he pins down at times using one paw. Our maltese is
adjusting as well and I don't think it'll be long before they are best
buddies. It's only when "Copper" wants to play that the maltese has to hide
sometimes because Copper gets too rambunctious for him. He's enjoying
playing with lots of chew toys. He wasn't eating all that well last week,
but over the past weekend his appetite seems to have picked up quite a bit.
He loves to go for walks and has already been to the lake near our house,
although so far he's only gotten his feet wet. The weather here is supposed
to get quite warm in the next few days so maybe he'll venture a bit deeper.

Thanks again for a wonderful dog. He's a welcome addition to our family and
we will surely take very good care of him.

The Cummings Family and Copper (f/k/a Murdoc)

We have three puppies who are all from the same litter, in fact their mother is Fergie and father is Tucker. We didn't get them all together but they all ended up in rescue.

These three puppies are set to be neutered on September 11, 2007 and will be ready to go to their forever homes soon thereafter.

They are sweet boys, very playful and willing to please. They are healthy and happy and ready to find their forever homes.
