Murphy-adopted

Murphy went to his forever home in Baton Rouge, LA on June 23, 2007.

He is a seven month old male retriever puppy. He was born on 1 Nov
2006. Murphy's mother was a yellow Lab and his father was a Golden. This
cross produced a beautiful pup which will appear to most people to be a
Golden.. He is current on shots, had a vet check, has been dewormed and
appears to be in perfect health. Murphy needs to be neutered. He arrived
in the Rescue Program on 5 June 07. We started crate training that day
and he slept through the night in the crate. He had his first obedience
lesson this morning and it is apparent his previous owners had done some
work with him. He is a very active puppy and enjoys romping with the
other dogs at my house.

Jo and I will work with Murphy for a few days and we will update this report. I want this beautiful puppy to settle in a few days before he is neutered. Murphy is an owner surrender due to major changes in the family situation. I believe they are acting in the best interest of the puppy.
