updated photo as of July 1st, 2006:

Oliver went to his forever home on April 7th, 2005.

He is now living in CT and loves his new brother, toby.

FEb 2006--Oliver is doing fine and loves to play in his backyard.

July 24th: Oliver had eye surgery in July 2005 and recovered very well. His new dad is so happy for he and Toby. Thank goodness for a kind new owner named Ken who is taking such good care of Oliver.

June 2005: Hi Lee, thanks for the notice about Sept. 11! I took Oliver to an eye specialists last week, he definitely is blind in the one eye but the other eye is fine. The vet could not say how the blindness occurred but he felt that Oliver has not seen out of that eye for some time. Unfortunately, the bad eye has a pressure 4 times what a normal eye should be and this can cause discomfort and headaches so surgery is recommended. Oliver will have that eye removed and a prosthetic replacement on July 14. I did not want Oliver to spend his entire life with constant pain. Ken

Update on Oliver as of april 20th: He is doing very well, loves his new home especially his backyard and running with toby, a cairn terrier. He has met most of the extended family and is adored by all of them. I am so glad he is here with me, he is a great addition to the family. We are working on some basic obedience but I am sure he will adapt. Picture attached. Ken

Oliver is a young pretty red boy and about 1 year old. He has an injury to his eye and has lost the sight in one eye. This does not slow him down. He is a wonderful companion. He does well with other dogs and is typically golden and loves people. He is ready to go.
