"Jim,
a two week update on Pete. He's fine and seems to be enjoying his new home.
He had his first Vet visit and he is in good health. He will have to have
that broken eye tooth extracted in time, vet thought it would be better to
give him a little more time to settle in. He up to 65 lbs, but is still a
little under weight, unlike his sister who's a little over weight. He's
getting a little more vocal now and lets you know want he wants and so far
carrots are his only unfavorite food.
You are not getting this puppy back!! Here some beach pictures--his favorite place.
Thanks again
Barbara"

"Jim,
Pete is doing extremely well. He's already not using his crate not using his crate (only 2 days) . He wants to be with Lilly, so they have free run of the house. He stays by her side in the yard and plays and plays. Knows "get the ball" and "where's the stick". Knows all his commands and how to speak. He does not beg and jump on the furniture. Pete loves to go for rides and is in the Jeep whenever he can. He was great at the groomer and loves to be brushed. He was excellent on his shopping trip to Petco and now has his own stuff. He was at the beach yesterday and was perfect. The crashing waves didn't phase him and he played well when the other dogs. Today he came to the office to meet everyone. Pete is an absolute treat to be with and he seems so grateful for anything you do for him. Also the people at the airline were wonderful and very helpful.
Thanks so much for all your help. I know Pete is thankful for your time, care and everything you and your wife have done for him.
Barry & Barbara"

"Can you tell I'm a proud Mother! Pete and Lily have been playing all day. He stays right with her and listens very well. He knows his commands and has made him self-right at home. Barry and the kids are off doing errands, so he has no trouble going for rides. This afternoon Pete is going for a bath and shopping. Rae was over this morning with her dog Molly, Bill & Mary called and Pete met the postman and already got presents and treats.
I left Jim a message last nite, but could you pass these pictures on to him, as I don't have his e-mail at home. Thanks for all your help and come over and visit. Let me know what day you will be in the office so I can bring Pete boy in.

Thanks again,
Barbara"
