Prince- now Indiana

Prince went to his
forever home in April 2008 and will be living in New Orleans,
LA.
Update from his
new family-Julie,
Prince is now....Indiana!!!
Indiana and Belle are getting along great, they play all the
time and, when they are exhausted, they pile up together in
the floor.
I took him to my vet on Monday and got his microchipping and
an exam done. He goes back next week to have his hips x-rayed
in order to prevent any future problems.
All in all he is getting along great and he over came his shyness
pretty quickly.
I will send some more pictures next week. Indiana is on the
right -
Thanks,
Michael
Prince came to GSGRR at the same time
as 3 other Goldens from Gulfport’s Humane Society. He
was an owner-surrender and was cowering in his run when I first
saw him. I took him outside on a leash and let him run in the
exercise yard. He seemed to relax somewhat as he got to chase
a ball.
I brought him home and gradually introduced him to my dogs.
After several days, he found that he could play endlessly with
my one-year-old Berner and the other dogs accepted him.
Prince just needed a little extra time to understand that there
was nothing to fear. He is very well-trained and so eager to
please.
Prince met a wonderful person with a Golden who really wanted
a playmate. The match was perfect and he went to his forever
home in New Orleans on April 28th.
