Reda came from the Humane Society in Gulfport as a stray. Her coat was matted around her ears and she was scared and very shy. Since she was too timid to go to the adoption floor, she went to a foster home for socialization and heartworm treatment. After several weeks, she began to come out of her shell and blossomed inside and out.  She is still a shy girl, preferring a quiet environment.  Her heartworm treatment is now complete though she needs a re-test in early March.

A quiet home is the best place for Reda.  She would enjoy someone or a family who will keep her safe and secure.  She weathered the heartworm treatment well and her appetite has been good throughout the treatment allowing her to reach a good weight from her small frame.
