Riley

Riley went to her forever home in Pearl Texas on August 27th, 2006.

She had found a special spot in her foster mom's heart and she is a special golden.

Update from her new mom and dad:

Judy,

Riley is such a cool dog and we think that she adopted us and not the other way around. She is such a hit with the neighbors and their children that the children knock on the door and ask if they can take her for a walk. The last couple of weeks we have been discovering that she does not like cats a whole lot, as she chases every one that she sees. If she finds a dead bird on our walks, she picks it up and drops it at my feet. When we take local trips around Pearland, all I have to say is "load up" and she hops right in the Suburban. Also, we have to be careful that we do not leave anything out on the kitchen counter as she likes to "counter-surf". I came home one day and found that the only thing left from a half a loaf of wheat bread was the plastic wrapper, and one day when I went out to start the grill, I came back and the hot dogs were gone............

Riley is such a sweetheart, so much so, that Jennifer is constantly asking me if Jim and Carol come across another golden like her if we can drive over and get another one!!!! I must say, don't be surprised if we make contact again and ask for another golden.

At this time we don't have our pictures back from Walgreens, but I promise to get some for you and some for Jim and Carol as well.

Have a great weekend, and again thank you for everything you have done for us.

Will be in touch soon,

Duncan
