Sailor

"Melanie,
What can we say...Sailor is a DREAM!!! If we could have had a thousand
dogs to choose from, Sailor would have been the best pick. He is just
amazing. I'm not sure the history, but he clearly wasn't abused. He
behaves extremely well in all the situations he's been in so far. New
dogs around...no problem. New people...he loves them all. Riding in
cars...I think it's his favorite. Walks...already trained on a loose
leash. Dinner time...no table begging. Bed time...sleeps next to our
bed. Time to go out...picks up his leash and carries it to us. Just
amazing!!! Even at PETCO...with thousands of distractions and new smells
he was perfect.
Our vet says the heart worm treatment seems to have done the trick.
No signs of any babies in the blood stream now. He'll go on a preventative
and should be good for life.
Sailor is already part of the family - we can't thank you enough for
your help. We've actually referred a very good friend (Deidra) to you
about other dogs. She'll be an excellent adopter!!
Thanks again and keep up the good work. We'll be sure to spread the
word and try to help you find new homes for these great animals. Please
feel free to use us as references for anyone that might be apprehensive
about adopting a pet long distance.
