Sam and Lilly went to their forever home TOGETHER in Slidell, LA on May 25th, 2006.

Update on July 9, 2006:

Hi Judy. We have been gathering pictures to send an update to you, Jim and the Landry family. I guess now is the time to do it! The pictures are
attached.

We discussed the idea of getting dogs for the children while they are still
young. We discussed this idea for many, many months. It was difficult to
just make the decision to do it. When I saw the rescue website and I saw Sam
& Lilly's picture I just knew it was meant to be! Adopting these dogs has
truly been a blessing. With two young children our lives are full, but we
really wanted dogs. We didn't want puppies - too much workJ Sam & Lilly, we
thought, would be just perfect. We were right.

Sam and Lilly have been the most wonderful additions to our family! As you
can see in the pictures they have made themselves right at home. Our
children just adore them and so do we. They are happy, playful dogs that are
full of love. They are wonderfully calm and allow the kids to lay all over
them. They just love getting a bath and digging in the sandbox. We hope they
will enjoy camping - we will take them on their first camping trip in a
couple of weeks. We even bought a new camper last week so that it would
accommodate them better!

I can't thank all of you enough for doing what you do. I tell everyone I can
about you. Keep up the great work you are doing for these precious animals.
