Scooby
Donna & Nick received Scooby on 2/8/04 Donna Writes: " I’m (we’re) LOVING Scooby. Chelsea is in her glory. They play and wear each other out. Scooby just wants to be with you. We’ve allowed him off the leash in the backyard and he minds well. Of course, Chelsea is on hers but gets a thrill out of being with HIM! We’re still adjusting to routines, but all in all we have a masterpiece of a golden. Thanks again to you and Jim and I certainly will be updating you with photos, calls or emails. Please know if you need help with fostering or any additional help on our end, we would certainly enjoy being part of it all. Thanks again. Also, could you forward this to Jim? Donna"
"Hello all, Just wanted to give you a quick update. When Ginger passed away last year, I (we) had a horrible time, and still I cry. Never thought I would feel the pain I felt with losing her. But, on a good note, we adopted Chelsea a mixed lab/ridgeback? mix. She was a rescue from Nebraska (born in the woods). But, as much as we love Chelsea, we missed the Golden personality and charm, sooooo we've adopted Scooby from Louisianna. He comes from http://www.gulfsouthgoldens.com and has been with us 2 days. We are in love. Scooby and Chelsea are getting along famously and Scooby is a charmer. What a beauty. He was given up because the family traveled so often they couldn't get anyone to watch him. OUR GAIN! So if you are looking to adopt check out this website. Jim runs it and Debbie was my contact in the Northeast. They're running on donations and have rescued many goldens from kill shelters. Please check it out. Donna and Angel Ginger |
