Seth is a BEAUTIFUL stray who came to us from the Jefferson Parish animal shelter. He is very underweight, but amazingly has gotten a great bill of health from the vet with the exception of his heartworms. He gets along well with our other male dogs and loves our dog savvy cat! Seth is learning how to play and retrieve and is making great progress. After three weeks, he will now carry around toys and enjoys chewing on bones. Seth also likes to chew on shoes if given the opportunity! He does not appear to have had much training but is calm and well mannered. He is crate trained and knows the basic commands like sit and here. However, if given the opportunity to run he most definitely will! He has mild storm anxiety and prefers to sit as close to or in our laps as possible during thunder! He has not become destructive during a storm. He will need continued work before he can be trusted out of the crate for extended periods of time. Seth is a very affectionate boy who loves to follow us around the house and sit for a long belly, ear, or back rub.
