Thanks for checking in on our sweet "Shawny Bear".  The kids decided to keep Shawn's original name.  He just had his third birthday and has been with us for an entire year.  He has worked his way up to a full fledged running partner for me and has lost 10lbs.  He frolics around the yard with all of the neighborhood kids and greets every guest with unconditional love and excitement.  He is the same age as our twin boys and when they are together I call them the "triplets".  He wants to do everything that they do...including shower.  When I reflect on the last year and the countless hours of vacuuming that I have done I have to say that Shawn has been worth every minute of it.  Our twins started talking when we got Shawn and he continues to make them chatter with delight each and every day.  I think that they have found a friend for life and I love it.
