Spud now Buddy Updates in Feb 2012 Alicia,
It is good to hear from you, Spud's new name is Buddy has been the best dog I ever had and he has been a wonderful pal for me, and my wife. He now is trained in many commands and is now not as hyper as he was when we got him.
We found out he has epilepsy, and apparently he had it when we got him and we think this is why the owners got rid of him. Would like to know if you have any information on his previous health. He has a controlled invisable fence on two acre fenced in. He also has made two trips to St. Louis Mo. and is trained to stay in the car until we tell him to get out and in. He loves to ride and has not given us any trouble with strangers.
The doctors think he might out grow it, being he is still young. Any information on this will help even it the owners only seen it happen once.. This will give us a history. There is medication, but side effects goes along with it. So we are waiting to see if it gets any worse.
