Tanner is the type of Golden that makes people love the breed. He loves to be with people and will rest his head on your knee patiently waiting for you to look at him and give him a little scratch behind the ear. He is 5-6 years old, housebroken, knows basic commands, is calm and loving. He was in the Gautier, MS shelter for a month and was a favorite among the workers there. He was always happy to see people but never asked for more than a little attention now and then. They saw many puppies and very young dogs adopted and hoped someone special would notice Tanner. He is very thin and has some skin issues (possibly from boredom) which should subside with good food, love and the medicine from the vet. He weighs a mere 59 pounds and has a dark red shiny coat.

Whoever gets this special dog will feel that he has been with them their whole life. He seems to listen and understand what you are telling him. He deserves the best home and will return your love unconditionally.
