Tiffee, now Summer, - went to her forever home on 6/28/11

Tiffie, now Summer

She loves her little Pomeranian brother, Panda Bear. Been working hard to get her to also like her kitty sister. So far it's been a slow road and she's currently on gabapentin for her seizures and her anxiety, which is slowly improving. We've been consulting with a behavioral therapist and hope that in the next 6 months or so she'll lose some of her cat aggression/obsession. She's a sweetie and loves taking walks with us and has helped her little brother become house trained (finally!). I sent some photos to Judy a while back of the family. Hopefully one of these days we can have the cat in those photos too.

Intake 5/17/11
Adopted 6/28/11
Tiffee is about 3 years old,UTD on vaccinations and tested negative for Heartworms 6/11.
Tiffee is a very sweet girl and loves to be around people.  She is great with other dogs.  She knows basic commands, like sit, stay, and down. When she goes down, she rolls over for belly rubs.  When let out of her kennel she gets very excited and jumps but with a little persistent correction will stop. Tiffee is wanting to be loved and is looking for a forever home.

Tiffee came to us by way of the LSU vet school. She was picked up by a vet student off the side of the road. She was thought to have been hit by a car but LSU checked her out and did not find any injuries. No one came forward to claim her so she was turned over to GS to find her a new home.
