Toby is a classic young Golden Retriever, well behaved and very nice looking. He is friendly to every person he meets and gets along well with other dogs. Toby is house trained, crate trained and rides well in a vehicle. This cute young dog follows us around the house as we move from room to room. He likes hanging out with his people. Toby is well suited for some one who enjoys walking. He walks well on a leash and is easy to control when faced with a distraction. Like most young dogs, he likes to wrestle and play with other dogs in a rough and tumble way. At 64 pounds Toby is a little under weight but he is eating well. He had a good vet check up and has been dewormed.This dog needs a fenced yard or
he must be walked on a leash . When given a chance, he will put his nose to the ground and run. We are working on making him better at coming when called. Toby is free in our house when we are home and is crated at night and when we leave the house. He becomes a little nervous during a thunder storm and will either go into his crate or find a quiet, dark corner and lay down until the storm passes.Toby is a wonderful companion animal. He is smart, willing to please and fun to be with.
