Tucker is a beautiful dog, on the inside and out. Physically, he is on the small side for a Golden, but is still adorable. He also has very soft and fluffy fur. Even though Tucker is a Golden mix, he got all of the Golden personality! He is a quick learner and very much wants to please. He seems to live for every “good boy” and a pat or treat! Tucker does not have the some of the bad habits that other dogs his age may have such as jumping, counter surfing, or chewing. Tucker has started learning how to fetch, but doesn’t have it down just yet. He loves to play and chew any kind of doggy toys or bones, but he especially enjoys a good game of tug-a-war.

Tucker also loves to play with other dogs and never tires of wrestling and chasing. Sometimes though, he does not understand other dog’s signals for him to stop and needs to be settled down. This being said, he would probably do well with another dog who likes to play as much as he does. He will also need daily walks and exercise to keep him stimulated.

Storm phobia is not a problem for Tucker, he doesn’t even notice thunder or lightning! He is also completely crate trained and does not whine when put in. As he has gotten used to us, Tucker has discovered a love for snuggling with his people. Overall, Tucker is a great little dog with a big heart, who is waiting for a perfect home!
